Titanium and Titanium Alloy Coil Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies titanium & titanium alloy coil from ready stock in Mumbai to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets. Coil is the most economical way to buy sheet-gauge material when parts are blanked, roll-formed or slit to strip, because it removes the cut-length premium and keeps the surface consistent along the whole run.
Titanium & Titanium Alloy covers commercially pure and alloyed titanium offering the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any structural metal. In-house slitting, cut-to-length, levelling and edge conditioning let us ship coil already sized for your press or roll former.

Specifications by Grade – Plate, sheet and strip
A specification is written for a product form. The standards below are the ones that cover plate, sheet and strip; the plate, bar and tube specifications for these grades are different documents and are listed on their own pages.
| Grade | UNS | Plate, sheet and strip specification |
|---|---|---|
| Grade 1 | R50250 | ASTM B265 |
| Grade 2 | R50400 | ASTM B265 |
| Grade 5 | R56400 | ASTM B265 |
| Grade 7 | R52400 | ASTM B265 |
| Grade 9 | R56320 | ASTM B265 |
| Grade 11 | R52250 | ASTM B265 |
| Grade 12 | R53400 | ASTM B265 |
| Grade 23 | R56407 | ASTM B265 |
| Ti-6-2-4-2 | R54620 | Mill specification |
Grades and International Equivalents
| Grade | UNS | Werkstoff (W.Nr.) |
|---|---|---|
| Titanium Grade 1 | R50250 | 3.7024 |
| Titanium Grade 2 | R50400 | 3.7035 |
| Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) | R56400 | 3.7165 |
| Titanium Grade 7 | R52400 | 3.7235 |
| Titanium Grade 9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V) | R56320 | 3.7195 |
| Titanium Grade 12 | R53400 | 3.7105 |
| Titanium Grade 23 (ELI) | R56407 | 3.7165 |
Chemical Composition
Grades 1 to 4 are unalloyed, separated by controlled oxygen and iron. Grade 5 is Ti-6Al-4V; Grade 7 adds 0.12-0.25% palladium for reducing acids; Grade 23 is the extra-low-interstitial version of Grade 5 for implants.
Mechanical and Physical Properties
Tensile strength runs from 240 MPa (Grade 1) to 895 MPa (Grade 5), at roughly 4.5 g/cm3 - about 60% the density of steel. All grades form a self-healing oxide that resists seawater and oxidising chlorides.
Industry Applications
How coil and strip is used
Coil and strip are continuous cold-rolled flat product, bought to be worked rather than installed as they arrive. The common routes are stamping and deep drawing of gaskets, bellows, diaphragms and seals; forming of springs and spring washers; slitting to narrow strip for electrical contacts, battery tabs and current collectors; shim and vessel-lining stock; and as the feedstock from which welded tube and pipe are made. Thickness tolerance and temper matter more here than they do in any other form, because the material has to survive the press.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Aerospace | Airframe structure, engine components, fasteners and hydraulic tubing. |
| Medical | Orthopaedic implants, bone screws and surgical instruments in Grade 23. |
| Chemical processing | Heat exchangers, pressure vessels and chlorine-dioxide service. |
| Marine | Desalination plant, seawater piping and offshore risers. |
| Power generation | Surface condenser tubing and geothermal plant. |
Testing and Certification
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on grade and specification we can supply positive material identification (PMI), ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 or G28, and third-party inspection release notes from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.
Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Material for sour service can be supplied certified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 where the grade permits.
