Technical information on this site
The grade designations, UNS and Werkstoff numbers, standards, compositions, mechanical properties, dimensions and applications published here are given as general reference. Values are typical or nominal and are drawn from published standards and mill data. They are not a specification, not a warranty, and not a substitute for the material certificate supplied with an order.
Material selection remains your responsibility. Suitability for a particular service depends on the medium, temperature, pressure, stress and design detail of your application, none of which we can assess from this website. Always verify against the governing standard and confirm requirements in writing before ordering. Where the intended service is critical, obtain independent engineering advice.
Stock, sizes and availability
References to ready stock, size ranges and lead times describe our usual capability. They are indicative and change continuously. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Availability, price and delivery are confirmed only in a written quotation.
Quotations and orders
Quotations are valid for the period stated on them and are subject to material being unsold at the time of acceptance. A contract is formed only when we accept your purchase order in writing. Where our written quotation, order acknowledgement or sales contract conflicts with anything on this website, the written document governs.
Certification
Unless otherwise agreed, material is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Additional testing, 3.2 certification, third-party inspection and specific standard compliance such as NACE MR0175 must be requested at enquiry stage, as they affect price, sourcing and lead time.

Alloy names used on this site to identify material grades are the trademarks of their respective owners. Elgiloy is a trademark of Elgiloy Specialty Metals. These names are used solely to describe the grade of material offered. Aurico Alloys LLP is an independent stockist and exporter and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorised distributor of these trademark owners unless expressly stated.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from use of this website.
