Waspaloy for High-Temperature Rotating Components

Waspaloy is an age-hardenable nickel-chromium-cobalt superalloy strengthened by additions of molybdenum, titanium and aluminium. It holds high strength and creep resistance at temperatures up to roughly 1,600°F (870°C), which makes it a long-standing choice for gas turbine discs, shafts, rings, fasteners and other rotating components in aerospace and power generation.

Key Properties:

  • High Strength and Creep Resistance to Approximately 870°C
  • Age-Hardenable Nickel-Chromium-Cobalt Superalloy
  • Good Oxidation Resistance
  • Retained Rupture Strength Under Sustained Load
  • Resistance to Thermal Fatigue

Applications:

  • Gas Turbine Discs, Shafts and Rings
  • Aerospace and Aviation
  • Power Generation
  • High-Temperature Fasteners

Specification:

  • UNS N07001
  • AMS 5704 / AMS 5706 / AMS 5707
