Aurico Alloys LLP supplies cobalt alloys from Mumbai in sheet, plate, round bar and foil. Held in stock or arranged with the manufacturer, depending on grade and quantity.
Cobalt alloys are chosen for three things nickel alloys do less well: resistance to sliding and abrasive wear, fatigue strength that survives being cycled indefinitely, and biocompatibility. They are not general-purpose corrosion alloys, and they are not cheap — they get specified when one of those three properties is the whole point of the part.
Elgiloy is the spring alloy, cold worked and aged to very high strength and used where a component must flex without relaxing, including in sour gas service. Stellite is the wear alloy, hard and usually applied where two surfaces rub. CoCrMo is the implant and additive manufacturing composition.

Certification and Cutting
Material is supplied against EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, with chemical composition and mechanical properties for the batch. Cutting to size is done in house.
