  • MP35N – UNS R30035: a Co-35Ni-20Cr-10Mo multiphase alloy. ASTM F562 covers it in bar and wire; ISO 5832-6 is the wrought Co-Ni-Cr-Mo equivalent. This is the grade used for downhole springs and fasteners.
  • CoCrMo – UNS R31537, W.Nr 2.4979 (CoCr28Mo6): a Co-28Cr-6Mo alloy. ASTM F1537 covers it in bar, rod and wire; ISO 5832-12 is the wrought equivalent.
  • Elgiloy – UNS R30003: a 40Co-20Cr-16Fe-15Ni-7Mo alloy. ASTM F1058 covers it in wire, strip and bar, alongside AMS 5833. This is the spring and fatigue grade.
