Stellite Cobalt Alloys for Wear and High-Temperature Service
Stellite is a family of cobalt-chromium alloys, strengthened by hard chromium and tungsten carbides, that are valued for their resistance to wear, galling, cavitation and erosion. The alloys retain hardness and strength at elevated temperature and resist oxidation and corrosion, which makes them a standard choice for valve seats and trim, pump components, wear pads and hardfacing in demanding service.
