Stellite 12
Stellite® 12 (UNS R30012) sits between Stellite 6 and Stellite 1. Its higher tungsten and carbon give it a larger fraction of hard carbides, so it resists low-angle erosion, abrasion and severe sliding wear better than Stellite 6 while keeping usable impact and cavitation resistance, and its higher tungsten holds properties to about 700 °C. It is the grade of choice for cutting edges - industrial knives for carpet, plastic, paper and synthetic fibre, saw tips for timber, pump vanes, bearing bushes and rotor blade edges.
