Stellite® 12 strip (UNS R30012) is narrow higher-carbide flat stock, slit to width for knife edges, doctor blades and cladding where an abrasion-resistant band is applied along a length. It carries the grade's larger carbide fraction - about 45–51 HRC held to 700 °C - so a strip edge keeps cutting where Stellite 6 would round over faster under severe sliding wear.

Applications & Benefits
- Knife and doctor-blade edges in paper, packaging and fibre plant.
- Cladding and edge overlay where a hard, abrasion-resistant band is needed.
- Narrow wear faces slit from higher-carbide stock.
- Higher carbide content than Stellite 6; 45–51 HRC.
