4680 Cell Nickel Strip Busbar Manufacturer and Exporter
Aurico Alloys LLP manufactures pure nickel strip busbars for 4680 cells - the 46 mm by 80 mm cylindrical format used in current-generation electric vehicle packs.
The 4680 format concentrates far more current into each interconnect than 18650 or 21700 designs, so busbar cross-section, weld area and thermal path all have to be sized deliberately rather than carried over from a smaller-format pack.

Why Pure Nickel
Pure nickel spot-welds consistently to steel cell cans, resists electrolyte and humidity inside the pack, and holds a stable low contact resistance across thousands of cycles. Plated steel loses that stability as the plating wears through, and bare copper will not weld reliably to a cell can without a nickel interlayer.
Applications
| Application | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Electric vehicles | Structural battery packs built on 4680 cells. |
| Energy storage | High-capacity stationary storage modules. |
| Commercial vehicles | Bus, truck and off-highway traction packs. |
| Prototyping | Development packs and test fixtures. |
