Titanium Grade 1

Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Titanium Grade 1 (UNS R50250, W.Nr. 3.7024) as sheet, plate, coil, foil, round bar and pipe, from Mumbai, India, with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates. The softest and most formable of the commercially pure grades, it is chosen for deep drawing and severe forming rather than for strength.

Key Properties

Oxygen 0.18% and iron 0.20% maximum — the lowest of the commercially pure grades, and the reason it is the most formable.
Oxygen is the strengthener in CP titanium. Grades 1 to 4 are the same metal with progressively more of it: 0.18, 0.25, 0.35 and 0.40%.
Deep drawing and severe forming are what it is chosen for, not strength.
Grade 11 is Grade 1 with palladium added for crevice corrosion resistance.
