Sanicro® 35 (UNS N08935)
Sanicro® 35 is a nitrogen-alloyed austenitic grade that sits between the super-austenitic stainless steels and the nickel alloys: roughly 27% chromium, 35% nickel and 6.5% molybdenum with 0.3% nitrogen. That chemistry gives it the pitting and crevice resistance of a 6-moly grade with the chloride stress-corrosion resistance the nickel content buys, which is why it is specified for seawater cooling and heating, refinery overhead and sour service where 6-moly stainless is marginal and a nickel alloy is more than the duty needs.
It is a young grade rather than a long-established one, so its identity rests on a single UNS number: no Werkstoff number or EN designation has been assigned. It is covered by ASME Code Cases for Section I and Section VIII, and complies with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3 as a type 4a and 4c material and with ANSI/NACE MR0103 / ISO 17495-1.

Who Makes It
SANICRO is Alleima's mark and Alleima makes the seamless tube and pipe. Plate and sheet are made by Outokumpu under a licence agreement Alleima names on its own product page, to ASTM B625. Both routes are supplied against the producing mill's EN 10204 3.1 certificate, and we say which mill rolled the material before you order rather than after.
