Sanicro 35 Round Bar Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Sanicro 35 round bar (UNS N08935) cut to length from Mumbai and exported worldwide.
Bar is an Alleima product line — the company owns the SANICRO trademark and lists Sanicro 35 Bar among its solid round bar range. Note what that does and does not mean for the paperwork: Alleima publishes ASTM numbers for the grade in tube, pipe, plate and sheet, and none for bar. Bar is therefore supplied to the mill's own specification, and the certificate states the composition and mechanical properties for the heat rather than conformance to an ASTM document that does not cover the form.
Anyone quoting you Sanicro 35 bar "to ASTM B163" is citing a tube standard. Ask which document the certificate will actually reference.

Chemical Composition
Nominally 27% chromium, 35% nickel and 6.5% molybdenum with 0.3% nitrogen. The composition is the same whichever form the alloy is supplied in; what changes between forms is the standard it is certified against.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Alleima characterises Sanicro 35 as having very high mechanical strength, and publishes minima against its tube and pipe standards — 425 MPa proof strength and 750 MPa tensile for tube to ASTM B163 in the solution annealed condition. Those figures are for tube, not for bar, and are given here for the material's general character rather than as an acceptance criterion for a bar order. Bar properties are stated on the mill certificate for the heat supplied.
Good weldability with nickel-alloy consumables; TIG welding at low heat input, with preheat and post-weld heat treatment normally unnecessary.
Industry Applications
Why this grade
Bar in this alloy goes where a fastener, shaft or valve internal has to survive the same environment as the vessel around it. The combination that earns it the job is high strength with chloride stress-corrosion resistance: 6-moly stainless bar has the pitting resistance but not the nickel content, and a nickel alloy costs more than most of these components justify.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Oil and gas | Sour-service valve internals, stems and fasteners to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3. |
| Power and desalination | Pump shafts and tubesheet hardware in seawater cooling circuits. |
| Chemical processing | Agitator shafts, machined fittings and bolting in acid and chloride service. |
| Marine | Fasteners and hardware exposed to seawater and salt spray. |
| Pollution control | Damper shafts and internals in flue-gas desulphurisation plant. |
Testing and Certification
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on the specification we can add positive material identification, ultrasonic testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM G28 or A262, hardness survey for sour service, and third-party inspection release from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.
Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and can certify material to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service where the grade permits.
