Stellite® 12 sheet (UNS R30012) is the higher-carbide grade between Stellite 6 and Stellite 1, supplied flat for cutting-edge and wear-plate blanks. Its extra tungsten and carbon raise the carbide fraction, so it resists low-angle erosion, abrasion and severe sliding wear better than Stellite 6 at a typical 45–51 HRC, with properties held to about 700 °C. It is the sheet grade for blanking knife and tool edges.
