Inconel Coil Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies inconel coil from ready stock in Mumbai to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets. Coil is the most economical way to buy sheet-gauge material when parts are blanked, roll-formed or slit to strip, because it removes the cut-length premium and keeps the surface consistent along the whole run.
Inconel covers nickel-chromium superalloys that retain strength and resist oxidation far above the limit of stainless steel. In-house slitting, cut-to-length, levelling and edge conditioning let us ship coil already sized for your press or roll former.

Specifications by Grade – Plate, sheet and strip
A specification is written for a product form. The standards below are the ones that cover plate, sheet and strip; the plate, bar and tube specifications for these grades are different documents and are listed on their own pages.

|---|---|---|
| 600 | N06600 | ASTM B168 |
| 601 | N06601 | ASTM B168 |
| 617 | N06617 | ASTM B168 / AMS 5888 / 5889 |
| 625 | N06625 | ASTM B443 / AMS 5599 |
| 625 LCF | N06626 | AMS 5879 |
| 686 | N06686 | ASTM B575 / B906 |
| 690 | N06690 | ASTM B168 / B906 |

Chemical Composition
Inconel 600 carries 72% Ni with 14-17% Cr and 6-10% Fe; Inconel 625 adds 8-10% Mo and 3.15-4.15% Nb for solid-solution strengthening; Inconel 718 is age-hardened through 4.75-5.5% Nb plus titanium and aluminium.
Mechanical and Physical Properties
Room-temperature tensile strength ranges from about 550 MPa (600, annealed) to 1275 MPa (718, aged). Grade 625 resists oxidation to 1050°C, and 718 holds useful strength to roughly 700°C.
Industry Applications
How coil and strip is used
Coil and strip are continuous cold-rolled flat product, bought to be worked rather than installed as they arrive. The common routes are stamping and deep drawing of gaskets, bellows, diaphragms and seals; forming of springs and spring washers; slitting to narrow strip for electrical contacts, battery tabs and current collectors; shim and vessel-lining stock; and as the feedstock from which welded tube and pipe are made. Thickness tolerance and temper matter more here than they do in any other form, because the material has to survive the press.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Aerospace | Turbine casings, combustion liners, exhaust ducting and fasteners. |
| Chemical processing | Acid-service reactors, bellows and evaporator tubing. |
| Oil and gas | Sour-service completion equipment, subsea hardware and flare tips. |
| Power generation | Steam-generator tubing, gas-turbine hardware and nuclear components. |
| Marine | Seawater systems and splash-zone hardware. |
Testing and Certification
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on grade and specification we can supply positive material identification (PMI), ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 or G28, and third-party inspection release notes from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.
Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Material for sour service can be supplied certified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 where the grade permits.
