Nimonic Tube Supplier, Stockist and Exporter

Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Nimonic Tube from ready stock in Mumbai to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets. Tube is specified by outside diameter and wall thickness rather than nominal bore, which makes it the form of choice for heat exchangers, instrumentation and any assembly where the fit into a tubesheet or fitting is what governs.

Nimonic covers age-hardened nickel-chromium superalloys developed for gas-turbine hot sections. U-bending, end facing, tube-to-tubesheet preparation and cut-to-length are handled in house.

Specifications by Grade – Pipe and tube

A specification is written for a product form. The standards below are the ones that cover pipe and tube; the plate, bar and tube specifications for these grades are different documents and are listed on their own pages.

Chemical Composition

The family is built on 18-21% chromium in a nickel matrix, strengthened by titanium and aluminium that precipitate gamma-prime on ageing. Nimonic 90 adds 15-21% cobalt; Nimonic 263 uses 5.6-6.1% molybdenum.

Mechanical and Physical Properties

Aged tensile strength typically falls between 900 and 1200 MPa, with creep-rupture capability sustained to 900°C and good resistance to oxidation and sulphidation.

Industry Applications

How tube is used

Tube is thin-wall hollow section bought for heat transfer and for carrying fluid in small bores. It goes into shell-and-tube heat exchanger and condenser bundles, feedwater heaters and deaerators, U-bends and coiled tubing, and instrumentation and hydraulic lines. Wall thickness, straightness and the ability to bend without thinning the outer wall are what the buyer is specifying.

Where Nimonic Tube is specified
IndustryTypical use
AerospaceTurbine blades, discs, rings and combustion hardware.
Power generationIndustrial gas-turbine components and hot-gas-path parts.
AutomotiveExhaust valves for high-performance and heavy-duty engines.
Heat treatmentFurnace fixtures and high-temperature springs.
Oil and gasTurbine hardware and high-temperature fasteners.

Testing and Certification

Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on grade and specification we can supply positive material identification (PMI), ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 or G28, hydrostatic testing, and third-party inspection release notes from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.

Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Material for sour service can be supplied certified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 where the grade permits.
