Inconel 617 Tube Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies inconel 617 tube (N06617, Werkstoff 2.4663) from ready stock in Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Tube is specified by outside diameter and wall thickness rather than nominal bore, which makes it the form of choice for heat exchangers, instrumentation and any assembly where the fit into a tubesheet or fitting is what governs.
Inconel 617 holds creep strength at the temperatures where gas turbines and advanced ultra-supercritical boilers actually run.

Chemical Composition
Nickel balance with 20-24% chromium, 10-15% cobalt, 8-10% molybdenum and 0.8-1.5% aluminium. Cobalt and molybdenum provide solid-solution strengthening; aluminium supports the oxide.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Room-temperature tensile strength around 740 MPa, with exceptional creep-rupture strength between 800°C and 1100°C and good resistance to carburising and oxidising atmospheres.
Industry Applications
Why this grade
Inconel 617 carries 8-10% molybdenum alongside cobalt, and delivers the highest creep-rupture strength of the solid-solution nickel alloys in the 1000-1100°C range. Choose it over 601 when the component has to hold load at temperature rather than merely survive the atmosphere; choose 601 over it when oxidation resistance matters more than retained strength.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Power generation | Advanced ultra-supercritical boiler tubing and headers. |
| Aerospace | Combustion cans, transition liners and ducting. |
| Petrochemical | Catalytic reformer and high-temperature reactor internals. |
| Heat treatment | Furnace components under sustained load. |
| Nuclear | High-temperature gas-cooled reactor hardware. |
Testing and Certification
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on the specification we can add positive material identification, ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM G28 or A262, hydrostatic testing, and third-party inspection release from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.
Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and can certify material to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service where the grade permits.
