Inconel 617
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 617 (UNS N06617, W.Nr. 2.4663) as sheet, plate, coil, round bar, wire, pipe, tube and fittings, from Mumbai, India, with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates. It offers exceptional creep strength and oxidation resistance up to about 980–1100°C for ultra-supercritical boiler components, gas turbine combustion cans and petrochemical plant.
Key Properties
- Cobalt 10-15% with molybdenum 8-10%, both solid-solution strengtheners, on nickel 44.5% minimum.
- Aluminium 0.8-1.5% for oxide scale adherence, and chromium 20-24%.
- Carbon 0.05-0.15%, a range with a minimum, carrying carbide strengthening at temperature.
- Among the strongest nickel alloys above 1000 °C, which is what it is specified for.
