Inconel 600 Pipes Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies inconel 600 pipes (N06600, Werkstoff 2.4816) from ready stock in Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Pipe is specified by nominal bore and schedule, and is the backbone of any process line carrying corrosive or high-temperature fluid where wall thickness has to be matched to design pressure and corrosion allowance.
Inconel 600 resists chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking, corrosion by high-purity water, and caustic attack, which makes it a default choice for heat-treating and nuclear service.

Chemical Composition
Nickel 72% minimum with 14-17% chromium and 6-10% iron. The high nickel content gives resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking, while chromium handles oxidising conditions.
| Element | Min (%) | Max (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Ni+Co | 72.0 | — |
| Chromium (Cr) | 14.0 | 17.0 |
| Iron (Fe) | 6.0 | 10.0 |

Composition limits for Inconel 600. These are specification limits for the grade, not measured values for a lot; the mill test certificate supplied with your order states the actual analysis.
Mechanical and Physical Properties
Annealed tensile strength around 550-690 MPa with yield near 240 MPa and elongation above 35%. Useful in continuous service to roughly 1090°C.
Industry Applications
Why this grade
Inconel 600 carries 14-17% chromium and about 72% nickel. The high nickel is what earns it its place: it resists chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and caustic attack, and holds up under carburising atmospheres. Where it is known to be vulnerable is intergranular cracking in high-temperature primary water, which is the reason 690 exists. For chemical and heat-treatment service away from that environment, 600 remains the cheaper and entirely sound choice.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Heat treatment | Retorts, muffles, furnace fixtures and roller hearths. |
| Nuclear | Steam-generator tubing, reactor internals and control-rod cladding. |
| Chemical processing | Caustic evaporators, fatty acid vessels and chlorination equipment to 538°C. |
| Food processing | Equipment handling organic acids and chloride-bearing media. |
| Aerospace | Engine exhaust liners and jet-engine ducting. |
Testing and Certification
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on the specification we can add positive material identification, ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM G28 or A262, hydrostatic testing, and third-party inspection release from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.
Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and can certify material to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service where the grade permits.
