Inconel 600 Fittings Supplier, Stockist and Exporter

Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 600 fittings (N06600, Werkstoff 2.4816) to ASTM B366 from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.

A caustic or chlorination line built in 600 is only as good as the fittings in it, and the fittings are where it is most likely to fail: every elbow and tee concentrates stress, and stress is what caustic cracking needs. Ordering the fittings in the same alloy and heat traceability as the 600 pipe keeps the weakest point of the line from being the one component bought on a different specification.

Mechanical and Physical Properties

Fittings are supplied in the annealed condition, where 600 runs roughly 550–690 MPa tensile with yield near 240 MPa. Wall thickness at the extrados of an elbow is what matters for pressure, so the schedule of the fitting has to match the pipe it joins.

Industry Applications

Why Inconel 600 fittings

The reason to buy 600 fittings is to keep the whole line in one alloy. Mixing a stainless elbow into a 600 caustic line puts the most highly stressed component in the material most likely to crack; mixing a more expensive alloy in buys nothing. B366 fittings are made from the same 600 chemistry as the pipe, so the welds see one alloy on both sides and the line can be qualified once.

Where Inconel 600 fittings is specified
IndustryTypical use
Chlor-alkaliElbows, tees and reducers in caustic soda evaporator and transfer lines.
Chemical processingFittings for chlorination and chlorinated-hydrocarbon piping.
Heat treatmentBends and branches in furnace atmosphere gas lines.
MaintenanceLike-for-like replacement fittings for existing 600 plant, matched to the original schedule.

Testing and Certification

Every fitting is marked with grade and heat number and supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate. Positive material identification confirms the alloy fitting by fitting, dye-penetrant testing checks the weld bevels and formed surfaces, and dimensions are checked against the ordered schedule. Third-party inspection can be arranged under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
