Titanium Powder for Additive Manufacturing
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies 3 titanium powder grades for additive manufacturing: Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 (R56400) and Ti-6Al-4V ELI Grade 23 (R56407).
Plasma atomised Ti-6Al-4V powders in standard and extra-low-interstitial chemistry, for aerospace structure and for implants.
Every grade and cut on this page is supplied: held in stock, or arranged with the manufacturer where a cut is not on the shelf. Tell us the alloy, the size fraction and the quantity and we will confirm availability and lead time.

Titanium Grade 2 Powder
Commercially pure titanium, unalloyed. The most formable and weldable of the CP grades, with the corrosion resistance of titanium at a lower cost than Ti-6Al-4V, and biocompatible for implant work.
Applications: Chemical process equipment, heat exchangers, marine hardware, anodes and non-load-bearing medical components.
Titanium Grade 5 Powder (Ti-6Al-4V)
The most used titanium alloy in manufacturing, and the reason printed titanium parts exist at all: roughly the strength of steel at 60% of the weight.
Applications: Aerospace structure and brackets, motorsport components, marine hardware and industrial tooling.
Titanium Grade 23 Powder (Ti-6Al-4V ELI)
Those tighter interstitial limits buy fracture toughness and ductility, which is what makes it the implant grade rather than Grade 5.
Applications: Orthopaedic and spinal implants, trauma fixation, dental, and cryogenic or damage-tolerant aerospace parts.
Should I use Titanium Grade 5 or Grade 23 powder?
They share a composition; Grade 23 simply holds oxygen, iron and carbon to tighter limits. Grade 5 suits aerospace and industrial parts where strength governs. Grade 23 is for implants and damage-tolerant parts, because the lower interstitials buy fracture toughness and ductility.
