Inconel 690 Fittings Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 690 fittings (N06690, Werkstoff 2.4642) to ASTM B366 from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Fittings for a nitric or pickling line in 690 pipe have to be 690 too, because the fitting sees the same oxidising acid with more turbulence and more weld. Mixing in a lower-chromium fitting puts a component with a thinner protective film in the most aggressive part of the line.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Fittings are supplied annealed, where 690 runs around 590–760 MPa tensile. In service the fitting is chosen for its chromium, which gives resistance to nitric and mixed oxidising acids.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 690 fittings
An elbow in a nitric line is where flow changes direction and the protective oxide works hardest. In 690, with 27–31% chromium, that oxide holds; in a lower-chromium alloy it thins. B366 fittings keep the whole line on one chemistry, so it can be designed, welded and inspected as one system.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Chemical processing | Elbows, tees and reducers in nitric and nitric-hydrofluoric lines. |
| Nuclear | Fittings for reprocessing plant piping. |
| Metal finishing | Fittings on pickling plant transfer lines. |
| Power generation | Fittings in gasification and high-sulphur gas lines. |
Testing and Certification
Every fitting is marked with grade and heat number and supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate. Positive material identification confirms the high-chromium grade, dye-penetrant testing checks bevels and formed surfaces, and dimensions are checked against the ordered schedule. Third-party inspection is available under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
