Inconel 690

Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 690 (UNS N06690, W.Nr. 2.4642) as sheet, plate, coil, round bar, wire, pipe, tube and fittings, from Mumbai, India, with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates. A high-chromium nickel alloy, it offers excellent stress corrosion cracking and oxidation resistance for nuclear steam generators and thermal power plants.

Key Properties

Chromium 27-31% — nearly twice Inconel 600's 14-17%, and the reason the grade exists.
Nickel 58% minimum with iron 7-11%.
Carbon 0.05% maximum, well below 600's 0.15%.
Resistant to stress corrosion in high-purity and caustic water, which is what nuclear steam generator tubing is qualified against.
