Stellite® 6 strip (UNS R30006) is narrow cobalt-chromium-tungsten flat stock, slit to width for cladding, edge overlay and saw-doctoring. It brings the same abrasion, galling and cavitation resistance as the sheet - 36–45 HRC held to about 500 °C - in a form suited to lining edges and narrow wear faces. Strip is used where a continuous wear band is applied to a longer component.
