Stellite® 6 sheet (UNS R30006) is a cobalt-chromium-tungsten wear alloy supplied flat for wear liners, cut blanks and machined wear faces. Chromium carbides in a cobalt matrix give it excellent abrasion, galling and cavitation resistance, retained to about 500 °C, with a typical hardness of 36–45 HRC. It is the general-purpose grade for valve seats, pump and bearing surfaces and erosion shields, and resists both wet corrosion and hot oxidation.

Applications & Benefits
- Wear liners and cut wear plates for chutes, hoppers and material-handling faces.
- Blanks for valve seats, gates and seal faces machined from flat stock.
- Erosion and cavitation shields for pump and hydro components.
- Self-mated sliding surfaces where galling must be avoided.
