Nickel Alloy Sheets and Plates Supplier, Stockist and Exporter

Aurico Alloys LLP supplies nickel alloy sheets from ready stock in Mumbai to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets. Sheet is cut-length flat product and the default form for fabrication: it is bought to be sheared, rolled, pressed and welded into vessels, ducting, linings and formed parts, and it is the form most fabricators quote against.

Nickel Alloy covers nickel-base alloys combining high-temperature strength with resistance to oxidising and reducing media. Sheet, plate and strip are covered by one specification per grade, so a sheet order and a plate order to the same grade cite the same standard and differ only in gauge and how the material was rolled.

Specifications by Grade – Plate, sheet and strip

A specification is written for a product form. The standards below are the ones that cover plate, sheet and strip; the plate, bar and tube specifications for these grades are different documents and are listed on their own pages.

Chemical Composition

Compositions span commercially pure nickel (99.0% Ni min in Nickel 200) through Ni-Cu (Monel 400: 63% Ni, 31% Cu), Ni-Cr-Fe (Inconel 600: 72% Ni, 15.5% Cr) and Ni-Cr-Mo-Nb (Inconel 625: 58% Ni, 21.5% Cr, 9% Mo, 3.6% Nb) systems.

Mechanical and Physical Properties

Tensile strength runs from roughly 380 MPa for annealed Nickel 200 to 830 MPa and above for Inconel 625, with service temperatures reaching 1000°C in the solid-solution-strengthened grades.

Industry Applications

How sheet is used

Sheet is the general-purpose flat form, thinner than plate and supplied cut to length rather than in coil. It is fabricated into pressure vessel shells and heads, tank and reactor linings, ducting and hoods, heat exchanger components, and formed and welded assemblies of every kind. Because it arrives flat and cut, it suits shops without decoiling equipment, which is the practical reason most fabrication is quoted in sheet rather than in coil.

Where nickel alloy sheet and plate is specified
IndustryTypical use
Chemical processingReactor internals, heat exchangers and transfer piping handling acids, chlorides and caustics.
Oil and gasDownhole tubing, wellhead components and sour-service equipment meeting NACE MR0175.
Power generationSuperheater and reheater elements, boiler tubing and flue-gas desulphurisation systems.
AerospaceEngine casings, exhaust systems and airframe fasteners.
MarineSeawater piping, condenser tubing and offshore platform hardware.

Testing and Certification

Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on grade and specification we can supply positive material identification (PMI), ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 or G28, and third-party inspection release notes from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.

Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Material for sour service can be supplied certified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 where the grade permits.
