Inconel 601 Fittings Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies inconel 601 fittings (N06601, Werkstoff 2.4851) from ready stock in Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Fittings carry the same corrosion duty as the pipe they join but see higher stress concentration at every change of direction, so grade traceability and wall thickness at the extrados matter more here than anywhere else in a piping system.
Inconel 601 holds an aluminium-stabilised oxide film that survives repeated thermal cycling, so it outlasts alloy 600 wherever the process heats and cools.

Chemical Composition
Nickel 58-63% with 21-25% chromium, 1.0-1.7% aluminium and the balance iron. The aluminium forms a tightly adherent oxide that resists spalling under thermal cycling.
| Element | Min (%) | Max (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Nickel (Ni) | 58.0 | 63.0 |
| Chromium (Cr) | 21.0 | 25.0 |
| Iron (Fe) | — | Balance |
| Aluminium (Al) | 1.0 | 1.7 |
| Carbon (C) | — | 0.10 |

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Annealed tensile strength around 550-760 MPa. Outstanding oxidation resistance to 1200°C and good strength under cyclic heating.
Industry Applications
Why this grade
Inconel 601 adds over 1% aluminium to the 600 chemistry, so it forms a tight alumina scale and resists oxidation to around 1200°C. It is the grade to specify when the part faces radiant heat rather than load: above 1000°C its creep strength falls well short of 617, so a furnace is often built with 617 in the load-bearing frame and 601 as the skin facing the heat.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Heat treatment | Radiant tubes, muffles, retorts and furnace baskets. |
| Petrochemical | Catalyst regenerators, flare tips and thermal reactors. |
| Power generation | Combustion hardware and waste-to-energy plant. |
| Chemical processing | Insulating cans and high-temperature process equipment. |
| Industrial heating | Burner nozzles, tube hangers and grate bars. |
Testing and Certification
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on the specification we can add positive material identification, ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM G28 or A262, hydrostatic testing, and third-party inspection release from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.
Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and can certify material to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service where the grade permits.
