Titanium Grade 12 Plates Supplier, Stockist and Exporter

Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Titanium Grade 12 Plates (R53400, Werkstoff 3.7105) from ready stock at our warehouses in Mumbai and Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai.

Titanium Grade 12 sits between commercially pure titanium and Grade 7 on both cost and performance, which makes it the practical choice where hot brine crevice attack rules out Grade 2 but Grade 7 cannot be justified.

Chemical Composition

Commercially pure titanium with 0.2-0.4% molybdenum and 0.6-0.9% nickel. Those two small additions are the whole point of the grade: they raise crevice corrosion resistance in hot chloride brines well above the unalloyed grades, without the cost of the palladium-bearing Grade 7.

Composition limits for Titanium Grade 12. These are specification limits for the grade, not measured values for a lot; the mill test certificate supplied with your order states the actual analysis.

Mechanical and Physical Properties

Minimum tensile strength 483 MPa with 345 MPa yield and 18% elongation - stronger than Grade 2 while remaining readily formable and weldable, with useful resistance in reducing acids up to around 200 degrees C.

Industry Applications

Where Titanium Grade 12 Plates is specified
IndustryTypical use
Chemical processingHeat exchangers, pressure vessels and reactor internals in hot chloride and reducing acid service.
DesalinationBrine heater and evaporator components where crevice attack limits the unalloyed grades.
GeothermalWellhead and heat exchange equipment in hot, saline and sulphide-bearing fluids.
Pulp and paperBleach plant washers and chlorine dioxide service.
MarineSeawater piping and offshore heat exchange equipment.

Testing and Certification

Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on the specification we can add positive material identification, ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 or G28, ferrite measurement, and third-party inspection release from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.

Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and can certify material to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service where the grade permits.
