Stellite 21 sheet supplier and stockist

Stellite® 21 Sheet Supplier in India

Stellite® 21 sheet (UNS R30021) is a cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy - molybdenum, not tungsten - supplied flat for high-temperature valve-trim blanks, wear plates and biomedical stock. The lower carbide volume lets the tough cobalt matrix govern, giving excellent thermal and mechanical shock resistance, cavitation and galling resistance, and service in oxidising conditions to about 1150 °C. It work-hardens from about 27–40 HRC and resists reducing and sour environments better than the tungsten grades.

Applications & Benefits

  • Valve-trim and seat blanks for petrochemical and power-generation service.
  • High-temperature wear plates where thermal and mechanical shock are severe.
  • Biomedical and dental blanks (a long-established CoCrMo implant chemistry).
  • No tungsten; work-hardens from 27–40 HRC; oxidising service to about 1150 °C.
