Hastelloy C4 Foil Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies hastelloy c4 foil (N06455, Werkstoff 2.4610) from ready stock in Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Foil is where gauge consistency and surface cleanliness dominate, because at these thicknesses a rolling defect becomes a through-hole.
Hastelloy C4 holds its structure through the 650-1040°C range, so welded fabrications resist the grain-boundary attack that catches other C-family alloys.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Annealed tensile strength around 690 MPa. The restricted iron, cobalt and tungsten give outstanding thermal stability, so it resists sensitisation in the weld heat-affected zone.
Industry Applications
Why this grade
Hastelloy C4 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with tungsten removed and iron and cobalt held very low. Its distinguishing property is thermal stability: it resists sensitisation and keeps its ductility after long exposure between roughly 650 and 1040°C, so it suits welded assemblies that sit at intermediate temperature. Its general corrosion resistance is a little below C276.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Chemical processing | Welded vessels and piping in mixed acid service. |
| Pollution control | Scrubber and flue-gas hardware. |
| Pharmaceutical | Reactor and process equipment needing weld stability. |
| Pulp and paper | Bleaching plant equipment. |
| Waste treatment | Acid condensate and incineration hardware. |
Testing and Certification
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on the specification we can add positive material identification, ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM G28 or A262, and third-party inspection release from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.
Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and can certify material to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour service where the grade permits.
