Hastelloy® Pipes Supplier, Stockist and Exporter

Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Hastelloy® Pipes from ready stock in Mumbai to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets. Pipe is specified by nominal bore and schedule, and is the backbone of any process line carrying corrosive or high-temperature fluid where wall thickness has to be matched to design pressure and corrosion allowance.

Hastelloy® covers nickel-molybdenum and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys for the most aggressive acid and chloride service. Cutting, bevelling, bending and spool fabrication are available, with third-party inspection on request.

Specifications by Grade – Pipe and tube

A specification is written for a product form. The standards below are the ones that cover pipe and tube; the plate, bar and tube specifications for these grades are different documents and are listed on their own pages.

Chemical Composition

C-276 carries 15-17% Mo and 14.5-16.5% Cr with tungsten and low carbon to resist sensitisation; C-22 raises chromium to 20-22.5% for oxidising media; the B-series runs 26-30% Mo with minimal chromium for hydrochloric acid.

Mechanical and Physical Properties

Typical annealed tensile strength is 690-790 MPa with elongation above 40%. The C-series resists pitting, crevice attack and chloride stress-corrosion cracking in both oxidising and reducing conditions.

Industry Applications

How pipe is used

Pipe is pressure-carrying hollow section for moving process fluid at scale. It goes into transfer lines, headers and risers, and into sour gas and offshore service where the line has to resist the fluid as well as hold the pressure. Schedule, end preparation and whether the pipe is seamless or welded are the decisions that drive the specification.

Where Hastelloy® Pipes is specified
IndustryTypical use
Chemical processingSulphuric, hydrochloric and phosphoric acid plant, reactors and scrubbers.
Pollution controlFlue-gas desulphurisation ducting, stack liners and scrubber internals.
PharmaceuticalReactor vessels and hygienic process lines.
Oil and gasSour-service hardware and high-chloride completion equipment.
Pulp and paperBleach-plant washers, digesters and chlorine dioxide service.

Testing and Certification

Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis and mechanical properties. Depending on grade and specification we can supply positive material identification (PMI), ultrasonic and dye-penetrant testing, intergranular corrosion testing to ASTM A262 or G28, hydrostatic testing, and third-party inspection release notes from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas, SGS or TUV.

Aurico Alloys LLP operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Material for sour service can be supplied certified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 where the grade permits.
